Checking in :)

I haven’t written anything in a couple of days, so I thought I would do a little update.  I have lost a little more weight, but I am not going to post it now since it’s still unofficial until my actual WI day (Wednesday).  I am feeling pretty good even though I am a little sore from the extra exercise that my body is still adjusting to.  I’ve been using BioFreeze on my aching muscles and it seems to be helping me.  My body still feels stiff even after sitting for 5 to 10 minutes.  It seems like it is easing up some and I hope it will get better as I continue losing weight.  I have been riding a recumbent bike and I really like it.  It supports my back and is easy on my knees.  The seat is a lot more comfortable than an upright stationary bike.  I really like it.  I also rented Leslie Sansone’s Walk Diet from Blockbuster Online.  It’s at the bottom of the query, so I will probably get it either Tuesday or Wednesday.  It has been super cold outside the last couple of weeks and my ears are frozen by the time I get home from walking.   I’ve read a lot of reviews and a lot of people seem to enjoy her videos.

I went to the store today and stocked up on my supplies for the week.   I think I may even try a few new WW recipes.  I was looking through my WW cookbook and I found a really yummy looking Pumpkin Apple Bread.  I love pumpkin, apple, and bread, so this should be a winner.  I left the house without bringing the recipe with me, but I’m sure I’ll be out this week and I will pick up the stuff to make it then.   I’ll be sure to let you know if it’s any good. :)

Take care everybody. :)

  1. Mmmm, that bread sounds really good. I’ve never thought about renting work out videos that I want to try. I belong to Netflix, so I should check it out.

  2. Though I am not from Oklahoma, I did live there for 14 years and both my children were born in Tulsa. I moved there to attend OSU and never left until my hubby was transferred to Houston. It was like the mother ship calling me home.

Good luck tomorrow with you weigh-in.

  3. Have you considered renting a DVD with a focus on Stretching? That might help those sore muscles! I just started the recumbent bike last Saturday and I *love* it. Even the hills! :) Good for you on the extra exercise!

  4. Sounds yummy… but bread has not been a good friend to me lately…THAT IS SOOO SAD. I love bread and miss it like crazy!

  5. Iceberg Pain Relieving Gel is the latest and most advanced pain management therapy. From the original creator and formulator of Biofreeze.
